Sultan Jahandar Shah was strangled to death. Farrukhsiyar captured the throne of Delhi from Jahandar Shah with the assistance of two Sayyid brothers.

This was translated to mean ""To the thunder his arms"". The corps song titled ""Ayudh Corps Mahan"" was introduced for the first time in 4th re-union of the Army Ordnance Corps. The song is to be played or sung ""within unit lines only"", during purely Regimental functions.
