12/16/1999Michael Johnson's 400m world record (43.18s) set up in the Seville World championship was ratified by IAAF. Other records also ratified were Kenyan Noah Ngeny's 1000m mark (2 11.96, Reiti, Italy) and Moroccan Hicham el Guerrouj's 2000m (4 44.79, Berlin).

12/1/1931The Second Round Table conference that began in London ended. Congress was solely represented by Gandhi and Muslim League by Sir Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam, etc. Two committees were setup to carry out the work of the conference on Federal Structure and Minorities. Gandhi was the member of both committees. He claimed that being the sole representative of the Congress, he represented the whole of India. Quaid-e-Azam replied that Muslims are a separate nation. Sir Shafi demanded that the 14 points of Quaid-e-Azam be incorporated in future constitution.

These plays were picturised by Hiralal Sen with support of great dramatist Amar Nath Dutt. The main roles were performed by Amar Dutt, N.C. Basu and Kusum Kumari and rest of the characters belonged to the Classic Theatre of Calcutta. They received a great applause from the audience.
